Apex Pharmacy, Homecare and Nutritional Center will ship mailable orders by either Federal Express or USPS Priority Mail. Apex also offers free local delivery of prescrptions and free delivery of lift chairs, ramps and other homecare items purchased through us.

All orders ship from our store in Hamden, CT). We can also provide guaranteed Overnight and Two Day, service at extra cost. MOST online orders will ship the same day if placed before 2:00 PM EST (not counting week-ends/holidays). If your order will be delayed we will notify you by email and/or a phone call.

Shipping Heat Sensitive items

All Items that are marked as HEAT SENSITIVE are kept cold in our store, and will be shipped carefully wrapped. 

We recommend that you purchase a gel pack to protect your order during warmer weather. Please keep in mind that cold pack shipping does not include expedited shipping costs.

Ice packs will thaw during shipping, especially in hotter weather.

Orders containing heat sensitive items are shipped Monday through Thursday to addresses within our local area, or as required for your location.

Please note that short term exposure to heat is acceptable.

We strongly recommend expedited shipping (overnight or 2nd day) during hot weather, or if you live far from our shipping location (Hamden, CT 06514)

  • Return any unopened, undamaged items to us within 30 days and we will refund your money. 
  • When we receive your package we will credit the card you paid us with for the full purchase price of your product. No questions asked. 
  • Products returned after 30 days will have a 20% restocking fee and we are not able to accept returns on products after 60 days. 
  • Refrigerated items must be returned with an ice pack and labeled "refrigerate on arrival". 
  • Special order returns: If you need to return/exchange an item that Apex special ordered by your request, there will be a 25% restocking fee.
